The EMIT Technology platform operates in the very-low microwave arena and is made possible by use of a proprietary bifocusing microwave lens employing nearfield transmitting antennae (patent issued) developed by the Company. This nearfield bifocusing lenses has the unique ability to create two symmetrical fields of microwave energy of uniform frequency, intensity, and geometry outside each open face of the lens. Focusing occurs not by refraction, as with optical lenses, but rather through the subtraction of energy which would otherwise travel outside the desired field. This lens has the effect of providing extremely high anomaly resolution against a reference point of a known material. EMIT Technology systems are very simple to operate, require minimal special training, and in many cases need no operator to assist in making a decision based upon the presented data. The EMIT Technology is the foundation for product applications covering a diverse range of industries including the security, medical, military, telecommunications, and biometric fields. EMIT's platform has a wide range of potential product applications in several major markets. The demand for EMIT's security products are staged to grow substantially for many years to come fueled by worldwide conflicts and terrorism. The potential market for the PPII alone, indicate sales revenues in the hundreds of millions of dollars which can be realized in a short period of time. Management has positioned the company accelerate sales through its developing international relationships and sales channels. Also a strong branding created from EMIT's unique technology niche in microwave is becoming well known. Security product prototypes developed over years are near ready for market, expediting the time and reducing the costs needed to finalize products to a market that is dramatically growing.In 1982, the dielectric low-energy microwave technology platform was born which is the basis of the EMIT Technologies platform. This platform, which is a proprietary combination of low-energy microwaves and special bi-focusing microwave lenses, has since become the catalyst for numerous product applications and an expanding patent portfolio.
The technology platform is the EMIT Technology process invented and patented by the company's chief scientist, Tex Yukl. Over a 20 year period, Mr. Yukl expanded his patents and products, working with fortune 500 companies, research laboratories, and government organizations. EMIT Technologies was formed to commercialize products designed from this unique technology.
